Why are differences between optical and X-ray for BGA inspection?
Caltex BGA scope is optical-video based system: the cost is much lower, less training required, easier to setup, better & more detailed color images on BGA balls. But inspection time is slower, recommended as good Analytical, inspection and measurement system for BGA. X-ray system: much faster inspection, black & white X-ray image, higher cost, more training involved.
