Until enactment of HB3244, speech-language pathology and audiology were among very few licensed professions in Oklahoma with no continuing education requirements. To correct this lack of rigor in our professions HB3244 directs the Board to implement continuing education (CE) requirements “…to assure that licensees update and advance their skills such that the public shall benefit from the most current and effective standards of professional practice.
