Why are competitor products so expensive and ISPIs products are so affordable?
Some of the more expensive competitor products offer two (2) things not offered by Independent Systems – both which make these company’s services far more expensive. 1. They offer Sales and Use tax compliance for the US and Canada as Independent Systems does, but also provide VAT tax compliance for other countries. 2. They offer Product-level taxability using their Product Taxability Matrix software (extra $ option). Independent Systems keeps things simple – and streamlined. Our client base knows which of their products are taxable or non-taxable or can catagorize them fairly easily.
