Why are commercial faith healers immune from criminal prosecution?
Good question. The FDA brought down the swindlers of Enzyte and the Q Ray bracelet because these products’ infomercials were making false claims on the effectiveness to heal or provide medical relief. Why not equate a faith healers program to an infomercial that claims to heal cancers and other health problems and bring them down for false claims. To add insult to injury, when victims’ health problems don’t improve after a faith healing session, the healer claims that the victim didn’t have enough faith. It’s the victim’s fault, not the healer. Faith healers, to me are the most uncaring members of our species.
