Why are Colorado students given priotity?
The SLP- Prep program is a grant funded program from the Colorado Department of Education State Improvement Grant in an effort to create more SLPs to work in Colorado. Slots are awarded to Colorado residents first. Applicants from other rural western states with few communication disorder undergraduate programs (Ie. Montana, Alaska, etc.) are then considered. All other applicants will be considered last.
