Why are CK stoves so affordable?
Many people ask us how can our stoves be one of the highest quality hand made cast iron stoves on the market and still cost LESS than some inferior stoves in retail outlets. The answer is easy. We don’t have any overheads that retail outlets have to pay. No rent, electricity, rates, heating bills. Staff wages etc. You are getting these stoves direct from the manufacturer. We pass on the savings to our customers. If we sold these stoves in a shop we would need to charge substantially more than their current price. How to Calculate KW rating for a room? {Width in meters x Length in meters x Height in meters} divided by 14 = approx kW rating for a room. It is not an indication of the size of stove you should buy as this depends on draughts, insulation, double glazing etc. Ideally you should always buy a stove larger than you need for the room. Therefore if you require 3 to 5 kilowatts to heat your room then buy a stove with a slightly larger kilowatt rating and light a fire to suit. Are C
