Why are cities in California outlawing cat declawing?
I live in California and I gotta tell ya, I wake up every morning and jump out of bed excited because I can’t wait to see what our loony politicians are going to do next. Here’s why it shouldn’t be outlawed: You went out to dinner last night and accidentally ate some meat. Now you have to administer a high colonic to yourself in order to rid your bowels of that vile form of protein. But the baby’s in the house, and so is the cat with it’s blood-drawing claws. How do you protect your baby while washing out your colin if your kitty isn’t declawed? But seriously, if we are going to own domesticated animals, we should have rights that extend beyond the rights of the animal. The same city government that bans declawing promotes hysterectomies and the removal of testicles.
