The VW Rabbit was introduced in 1976. In 1994, they changed the name to Golf. Special Edition Golfs are called rabbits and have the rabbit emblem on them. The 20th anniversary and 25th anniversary Golf have the Rabbit emblem on them. In 2006, they changed the name back to Rabbit, but some people still call it the Golf.
