Why are cats afraid of the vacuum cleaner?

I don’t know why some cats are afraid of vacuum cleaners. Probably because of the noise. And they don’t understand how it works and for them it is an unidentified object that they can’t stop. And if we talk about my cats, they love my robot vacuum cleaner. They fight among themselves for a place on it to ride around the kitchen. For them, this is entertainment. So, I shoot them on a video that gets a lot of likes among my friends. I really find it funny and interesting to watch them ride a vacuum cleaner. Well, I don’t know if they are so brave, because there are two of them. And they can protect each other in any danger. Or because my robot vacuum cleaner is smart, works without noise, so they love it and perceive it as a toy. It’s a pity that cats can’t talk. I would ask their opinion on this topic, lol.

they might not know it is a vacuum cleaner, especially if they are blue eyed (blind), and think it is a predator because of the noise
