Why are Black and White people so confused over Biracial people?
I’m not at all confused by biracial people and I think biracial people, largely, confuse themselves. It wasn’t until very recently that this became an issue because not so long ago biracial people were considered black by everyone, the black community was the place they called home and it was fine for all parties involved. It wasn’t until someone stood up and decided to be disgruntled about it that there was fallout. No biracial will ever truly be considered white EVER. If there was a race war, they would be on the white side. If there was still slavery, they would be picking cotton. What is the confusion?
