Why are ball python morphs so expensive?
It is all about supply and demand. Ball python morphs can require complicated genetic specific breeding to achieve certain traits. Normal ball pythons are often imported from overseas, so the ‘normal’ young are readily available. Some morphs such as an ‘Albino-Pied’ have only been in existence for less than two years, and less than ten are in existence. The market, availability, and time of year all factor into the cost of the animal. However, in terms of ball python morphs our prices are very low.
