Why are askvilles spell check and search features so deplorable?”
I have Firefox that has an embedded spell checker. It is easier to use, and user-friendly, because you don’t have to press any button to see your mis-spelled words. It catches mistakes as you type your text! I suggest you also do the same. Download Firefox, install it! It is my favorite Internet Browser. I also do not use Askville search. From my experience, I am fairly confident that it does not catch all results! Another problem with Askville search is that you can only search the questions and not the answers! I usually use Google search for more advanced searches that I need from time to time. You may use Google search to search in any website you wants. For example to search for “text” in Askville search for “text site:askville.amazon.com” in Google and you will get all results, in questions, answers and everywhere in Askville Sources: personal experience!
