Why are ant baits better than other methods of controlling ants?
Baits have pin point accuracy since the ant takes the bait into the colony. When spraying a contact residual spray, you must spray anywhere the ant may go in the future. Contact killers also provide only short term control. Even if 99 percent of worker ants are killed, without killing the queen, the colony can survive and rebuild. Baits are very effective in eliminating these invaders. The ants, thinking the bait is food, bring it back to the colony; feed it to the worker ants and the queen.
