Why Are Animals Slaughtered?
Animals have been poached basically for two reasons since time immemorial. The two reasons why people slaughter animals are for the purpose of food and for the purpose of making fur coats and other articles of clothing. Animals are also slaughtered in some communities to make offerings to God. The Muslims slaughter animals using a technique which is known as halal and the Jews slaughter animals using a technique which is known as shechita. The Muslims and the Jews are very particular about consuming meat products which have been prepared only by using the techniques which are known as halal and kosher respectively. Most countries have strong anti-hunting laws.
