Why are all the adult Halloween costumes so slutty?
I’ve purchased “sexy” costumes the past couple of years because some of them ARE really cute. However, I don’t like it when my parts are hanging out, so I’ve had to be more creative… like this year, I bought a petticoat to wear underneath. No only did it give me a poofier skirt, but I wore it low so it added a few inches to my hemline. My friend also has a “slutty” costume with sheer material in the front and an open back… so she bought a matching camisole and wore it underneath (she tucked the straps into her bra) and NO ONE knew. Pairing the costumes with opaque tights (instead of fishnets) and wearing a lower heel or flat shoe also decreases the skank-factor. So buy what you like, but tweek it to work for you…either by buying a larger size then hemming the bottom to where YOU feel comfortable, or wear accessories that tame the outfit.
