Why are albumtracks and even older songs on the chart?

An album or B-side often contains more beautiful music. It would be a waste not to put great songs on the chart, just because it hasn’t been released as a single yet. (Maybe it will be released in the future or is already released in a far foreign country I don’t even know). Because I put all songs on this list I listen to in a week, it can happen that some older song reaches the chart. When I feel the need to play a lot of Abba (for instance) in a week, the next week some Abba tracks will enter the chart! This way a song never quits the chart, it always stays in it, but beneath number 100… But don’t worry, this is not an oldie-chart. As you can see the highest positions are mostly brand new tracks, sometimes even tracks which haven’t been released yet (tracks I heard in Clubs or during live performances). The most perfect example is RMB with the song “Everything”. I heard it in November 1996 and it reached number one in my chart in the beginning of 1997, but the song wasn’t released
