Why are AFTERMARKET harnesses CHEAPER than GENUINE VOLVO harnesses?
The answer is that genuine Volvo harnesses are simply overpriced, like many parts purchased directly from a Volvo dealer. But you will find if you shop around that most of my prices for new aftermarket harnesses are much lower than other places. One reason is that I get a better price on many of them due to the volume I buy, since I specialize in harnesses. The owner of a Volvo repair shop, who bought a harness from me recently, told me my price on the harness he needed for a customer’s car was less than he could get one through his normal wholesale supplier. This is a pretty common finding.
