Why Animal Rights in Colombia and South America?
Animal rights groups are important for movement all over the world. Developing countries are lagging behind in animal rights issues. It’s undeniable that there is a relationship between human violence and animal abuse; this is why it’s not a surprise that a lot of these countries have some of the worst practices against animals, including bullfighting and cock fighting among others. It is also in these countries where the most cruel and urregulated farming and slaughtering practices take place. During the past few decades, animals have had no voice in these countries; many times ignored by a society that focus its attention on social problems like poverty and civil conflicts. Verdadera Compasión is the voice of these voiceless animals that has been heard by thousands of people during these years.
