Why and how do parents try and hinder their children from being good people or suceed in something?
As a mother I want my child to suceed and that is a natural instinct however, I have seen parents who want there children to be so perfect that they keep them from living….yes it is a cruel world out there but sometimes they need to fall so they can learn how to pick themselves up without our help. We have 18 years to give the a “base” and hope that they make the right choices but the best way to learn is unfortunately a lot of the time by mistakes. I personally almost failed because I thought everyone wanted me to go to college and thats not what I wanted for myself….I almost didnt follow my dream just to please my parents…but I chose to go to beauty school instead of college and now I own my own shop and my family couldnt be more proud so It pays to follow your dreams even if they are not what your parents dreams for you are.
