When you go to a electrologist who is a Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) you are working with a Internationally Board Certified Professional; someone who adheres to the standards set for the profession by the American Electrology Association (AEA); who has successfully passed comprehensive testing; and someone who, in order to maintain the certification, attends 75 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every 5 years.
