Why am seeing a previous days puzzle instead of todays puzzle?
You are probably viewing a previous day’s page which was “cached” on your computer. Since our Web site is constantly updated, it requires you to set your Web browser so that it will not “cache” pages. The purpose of a “cache” is to prevent the browser from reloading each page, and instead require it to use a version stored locally on your hard drive; using a “cached” page will completely prevent you from seeing the most current pages we offer. To make sure you are not viewing a “cached” page, first try pressing the “Reload” button to refresh the page. Next, if the same page reappears, you need to “clear the cache.” In AOL 4.0, click “My AOL” at the top of the screen. Choose “Preferences” in the list.
