Why am I unable to delete certain folders from within the UnivMail web interface after migrating from mcmail to univmail?
If you are unable to go into a folder (eg. mail) because it is not displayed as a link, you will need to create a folder using the same name as the folder you wish to delete. Before attempting this solution you should go into Netscape Messenger and try to access the folder you wish to delete. If you get an invalid mailbox message then you can continue to follow the instructions to delete this folder. However, if you don’t get an error message but instead see a plus sign in front of the folder name then this indicates that there are other folders within that folder. If you delete the folder then all other folders underneath it will also be deleted. In this situation, you shouldn’t delete the folder. This check has to be done within Netscape Messenger because it is not obvious in the UnivMail web interface. If you want to continue to delete the folder, then exit out of Netscape Messenger and Netscape Navigator (if opened). Restart the browser, go into the UnivMail web interface, click on
