Why am i so scared of getting a new puppy??
I was scared too when I was a couple of days away from getting my new puppy and for me, that fear came from the fact that I had never owned a dog before, so my fear was caused by worry that I hadn’t “puppy proofed” my home throroughly enough and that I wouldn’t be able to train the dog. What I would suggest doing, would be to go to your local library and check out some books on puppy training (one that I highly reccommend is “My Smart Puppy”, written by Brian Kilcommons and Sarah Wilson and also comes with a bonus DVD, which is VERY good. I liked that book so much, that I bought it from the bookstore, am training my puppy using the My Smart Puppy method, and it’s working), then read those or even go down to your local bookstore and buy a few puppy training books, having them in a spot where you can easily grab them to look up how to solve a puppy problem.
