Why Am I so Hurt by the FaceBook Obama Poster Blitz?
There are many versions of the Obama poster that has so many people so enraged. The efforts, that are even beginning to show up on FaceBook, are spreading virally around the globe. But why exactly are people so offended by the FaceBook Obama Poster blitz? Why are people upset over the Obama Poster any way? Isn’t it someone’s basic human right to have freedom of speech…even if you don’t like it? The biggest segment of those who respectfully disagree with my position on the FaceBook Obama Poster Blitz are trying to claim that the message is one showing President Obama in a “white-face” (a vague reference to early vaudevillian days) when it is in fact a parody of Obama as “the Joker” of Heath Ledger’s portrayal in the latest “Batman” franchise movies. According to my sources, there’s even been discussion, amongst those in “government” of actually attempting to make the displaying of the poster a criminal act.
