Why am I receiving the new Citi® charge card so early in the year?

Due to the large volume of cards that must be delivered to all Government personnel Citi® has implemented an early card delivery process. This process will allow enough time for Card Receipt Verification and Card Activation of the new Citi® Government Cards in an effort to minimize any interruption in service.
