Why am I prompted to display non-secure items when accessing certain pages?
The Cleveland Clinic Benefits Web site is secure. This means it uses a security protocol to secure the information you send and receive. When sites use a security protocol, information that you provide, such as your name or credit-card number, is encrypted so that other people can?t read it. However, this site also contains links to other content that does not use this secure protocol. To turn the prompt off, go the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and select Internet Options. Click the Security tab and then click the Custom Level button. Depending on the version of Internet Explorer, set either the “Display Mixed Content” or “Submit Encrypted Form Data” option to enabled.
