Why am i having trouble doing pushups?
I had similar problem as my upper body is definitely my weakest link. What you have to do to overcome the barrier is to push through it. Our bodies are capable of great things if we push them the right direction. Following routine helped me a lot. 10 pushups 1 minute break 9 pushups 1 minute break 8 pushups 1 minute break 7 pushups 1 minute break 6 pushups 1 minute break 5 pushups 30 sec. break 4 pushups 30 sec. break 3 pushups 30 sec break 2 pushups 30 sec break 1 Pushup DONE That way you can get 55 pushups done in less than 10 minutes. To count down helps mentally (at least for me). You can even do it once in the morning and then once in the evening. Other thing I see in your current routine is lack of rest. When you work out muscles, you need to give them rest (24 hours at least) to recover and get stronger. Do your upper body routine one day and concentrate on other muscle group or cardio the day after. You will soon see improvements and will be able to achieve your goal. Good Luck
