Why am I having problems importing .wmv or other file types if I have Flip4Mac installed?
As of version 2.3.0.7, Flip4Mac changed the way it handles loading files. Because of this change, we are unable to create a thumbnail of the movie which can cause problems when trying to import a media file which uses Flip4Mac for decoding (such as a .wmv). The solution is to change a setting in Flip4Mac’s preferences as described in Telestream’s FAQ.
