Why am I getting a warning when I connect my scanner that says: “HI-SPEED USB Device Plugged into a non-HI-SPEED USB Hub” with Windows XP?
This is a normal Windows XP message that is telling you it recognizes your scanner is a USB 2.0 (HI-SPEED) device and that you are plugging it into a standard USB 1.1 port on your computer. This will not harm the operation of your scanner, it just means that data will be received at the USB 1.1 data rate specification.
