Why am i getting a penile discharge?
A discharge after urinating is either some urine left in the passage, secretions from Cowper’s ducts or possibly from the periurethral glands. You may just have an inflammation of the prostate gland which often will cause a discharge of prostate fluid at the end of urination. However, your symptoms and discharge could also be due to an STD such as Chlamydia or even gonorrhea (although the latter is usually accompanied by severe burning with urination and as well as a greenish-yellow thick discharge). A yeast infection of the urethra is another, but less likely, possibility. The only way to be sure, is for you to see a doctor (preferrably a urologist, which you already have) and have the discharge cultured in order to identify the germs that might be present. This is the only definitive way to determine if a STD is present. Treatment in the form of antibiotics will probably be started by the physician who should also advise you if you need medication as well. Good luck!!!!
