During this project there are two NetWare server environments operating. If you try to open a document or reference a document which contains a link to another file, it may well be that the link directs the system to find the file on the old servers. The login prompt is therefore for your old ID and password; the system is trying to provide you with access to the old file. Select CANCEL, and update the link. If the file isn’t yours, ask the file owner to update the link. Another link to the old servers may be via a printer queue. Laptop users may have information about network printer queues locally installed, and if so, these old printer queues need to be deleted as they would also result in a login prompt for the old server environment when a print request is made.
