Why am I getting a -23 error message when attempting to dial out with Dial Direct?
This error message will occur if you have a PowerBook with an internal modem or PC card modem, and the appropriate control panel for the modem is not loaded. The control panel may be called “PowerBook” or “PowerBook Setup”, or, in the case of the Global Village modems, “powerport”. This error will also occur if you select the wrong port or slot in the Timbuktu Dial Direct preferences.
