Why am i coughing up white phlegm/mucus?

Hey! Well, obviously most of your symptoms are caused by the cold you have. The white phlegm sounds a lot better than green/yellow, which is usually indicative of a bad respiratory infection. The pressure you describe sounds normal to me, i’ve felt like that at times and you don’t necessarily have to have a blocked nose for it either. When you get sick, you have lymph glands that swell up (lymph glands store white blood cells mostly and become enlarged when you are ill) and this can occasionally make you feel this increased pressure. They will decrease in size as you get over your cold. From what you describe it sounds like you’re on the mend. However, if you have any concerns, please see your doctor rather than relying on the internet for your answers. Unless you are lucky to come across a doctor, there is really only a limited amount of information anyone can give you. So, do you feel better? If you don’t, then go back and see your doctor. Hope you feel better soon.
