Why ALL the greatest Writers, Poets & Dictionary Builders in History (any where) were Men?
Because there tend to be far more male geniuses than female. men are more likely than women to run to extremes of intelligence. I personally rate Jane Austen as among the greatest writers in history, and some people might include the Brontes, and maybe George Eliot. And I would say that Agatha Christie is the world’s greatest mystery writer, no male writer comes anywhere near her level of genius in the field. But generally I think there are far more very talented men than there are very talented women. People who have argued that it is because women didn’t get an education in the past, weren’t taken seriously etc are profoundly ignorant about the past.
