Why all indians r going to other up countries for job & with out thinking about our india?
agree to gayatri’s sentiments.the other point is that they DO think about the mother land….but their sentiments are NOT reciprocated by the Indians and also by the government….During the 60’s when East African countries were getting independence, the Indians approached the then Moraji desai govt to help them in their time of need…the E.A delegation approached Indian govt requesting that their money be transferred to India…the govt replied…”you guys are desh-dohis, you have left our mother land..we wont help you”….The result was that all the money went to U.k….as they had offered a safe haven for the hard earned money….Don’t have to tell you the rest!…its only when the govt realised that money in flow from NRI’s are forming a substantial foreign reserve balance, that the Indian govt policy towards NRI changed…..in the early 80’s the Indian govt promised educated academics up to date facility for their research in India….many came back, only to find it was all hot a
