Why align the licence renewal date to Autopac, rather than the other way around?
• It’s in the best interests of customers and the corporation to align to the Autopac renewal date. • Renewing to the Autopac date is also better for the customer’s cash flow. If we aligned to the licence renewal date, customers would have to pay for their Autopac four months earlier than usual. • For Manitoba Public Insurance, it means the process is simpler and less prone to error. It means we only have to modify one computer system, rather than two. Aligning all the data to the Autopac renewal date means the task is simpler, there’s less chance of error, and it’s less costly.
