Why adopt CPR/AED for Coaches?
Unlike general CPR courses offered through other providers, CPR/AED for Coaches is designed specifically for coaches working with athletes. The online portion of the course (part A) offers coaches flexibility and convenience and is available at no additional charge to coaches who also take the ASEP Sport First Aid course. The blended course format reduces the time needed to conduct the in-person portion (part B) – saving time for coaches and instructors. Coaches’ course completion and certifications are automatically tracked through the ASEP National Coaches Registry found on the ASEP Web site. The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) is one of the top five providers of emergency care in the United States. The ASHI certification is good for two years in comparison to one-year certifications granted by other providers, saving coaches time and money.
