Why adolescence period is considered critical stage?
The adolescent period is considered a critical stage in a person’s life because it is the transition from childhood to adulthood. Significant changes take place during adolescence such as puberty and mental development; a person finds out more about themselves, such as their sexuality and likes and dislikes. People think more independently and often begin to question their prior beliefs. During adolescence life-changing decisions are made, such as a person’s future career.
