Why a waterproof digital camera?
I recently took a caribbean cruise that included snorkeling and wanted a cheap waterproof digital camera to take with me. I had seen the waterproof disposable cameras, but did not like them and suspected that I would take a large number of photos which would drive my total price up considerably. I also looked into the waterproof enclosures for my current compact digital camera but didn’t like them either; most were little more than a plastic bag and didn’t look to be very usable. A waterproof digital camera seemed to be what I needed, but it also needed to be cheap as that might be the only time I used it and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a camera that I might only use for a few days.
