Why a Washington State Caucus?
Each political party holds its own Caucus. At the Caucus, neighboring voters assemble and elect delegates to represent their chosen Presidential candidate. They may also submit resolutions on issues to be considered at subsequent party caucuses. The Democratic Party selects Presidential delegates only through the caucus. The Republican party divides the caucus and primary votes to select delegates. Caucus Video from Democratic Party To find your caucus location, first find your precinct (neighborhood) number. Your town, legislative district, and precinct are on your voter registration card. For instance: SEA45[LD]-1200 [precinct]. If you don’t have a card, consult your state, county, or LD party website or headquarters.
