Why a Visor?
A computer geek friend, whom I respect a great deal, showed me his Visor and told me about the expansion slot on the back and the future capabilities Handspring would be developing. I shopped around and compared the Visor to Palm products. I bought the Deluxe Visor because it has 8meg of memory built in plus that can be expanded with an insertable memory card. That, and I liked the color choices. Fun color choices. I chose orange and now wish I had picked blue or ice. I find that the orange color of the unit “clashes” a little with green of the screen. But this is NOT a big deal. I also ordered the USB port connection for faster data transfer than a serial port connection. Synchronizing is very quick. The set-up was extremely easy. I am computer literate, but by no means am I an advanced user. I loaded the CD that came with it and then exported the address book from my e-mail program (Eudora Pro).
