Why a separate unit painting service?

Many of my customers have asked me in the past if I’m willing to paint units. I’m happy to say that I am now able to offer that service! I am able to quickly paint units of figures using a modified version of the Dip technique. My version simply cleans up the end result a bit to offer figures that look head and shoulders above what the technique typically produces. Unit painting costs vary with the paint scheme and complexity of the figure, but most units can be painted for $9 – $15 per figure – that means that you could have a fantastic looking unit of 10 figures for around $120!!! It is very important to note that figures painted in this fashion do not receive the same attention to detail as a typical Minidragon figure. Figures painted to my Unit standard will typically not have painted eyes and feature only a couple layers of highlighting and shading.
