Why a pneumatic solution ?
Pneumatic solution offers some advantages. No breaking servo belts, no blinking home lights and no blown fuses. No extra heat and weight of hydraulic system(dirty too, leaks possible). Just air. You are breathing it too… With pneumatic servo system a rapid cycling is possible with minimum wearing. Pneumatics produces trouble-free, long service life. Pneumatic servo systems drivers/SW s are complex, we agree. Also good wash out and in movements are needed. But that is where pneumatic helps. Compressibility of air can be also used to smooth out accelerations and decelerations of motion profiles. Good PID/PIDF system and formulas are sure needed.
