Why a pet bake sale?
Maybe you have seen advertisements for walks for shelters in your area and wondered what they are, well they are quite literally an organized stroll over a predetermined path done by people who have asked friends and family to sponsor them and donate money to the shelter based on how many miles they walk. Many older people can’t do those dog walks for shelters and rescues. Or maybe your spouse is doing the walk with your dog and you are left on the side lines. For whatever reason you might find yourself on the sidelines don’t file like you aren’t contributing, just gather some friends and raise money with a “Doggie Bake Sale”. I have listed all kinds of treats on this lens that you can feel free to use. But first here are some tips: 1) Ask the shelter what they suggest with setting up. Seeing as they will benefit from your sale they will love to help with advice they might have on a place you can set up at the start of the walk or the end of the walk, or even at some other venue.
