Why a new athletic complex instead of academics or fine arts?
In 2001, SJCP completed the 800 building classroom complex. The 800 building has 13 new classrooms all equipped with state of the art “smart boards.” Included in this complex are a foreign language lab and a computer lab equipped with 300 computers for student use. In 2000, the new Student Center, an auditorium that seats around 1,000 was built and is home to SJCPs band and orchestra. The combined Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes choir also perform in the Student Center. The Lowman Theater, seats 225, and is used by the both the Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes drama departments.
