Why a National Off-Road Vehicle Coalition?
The Coalition grew out of a shared recognition that motorized recreation–terrestrial and aquatic–is fast becoming one of the foremost threats to natural resources and social values on public lands. Over the past several years, a growing number of national, regional, and local organizations have collectively and independently utilized various strategies, with varying degrees of success, to deal with the problem. We formed the Coalition, in part, to bring together and strengthen these efforts. The Coalition is intended to complement, not substitute for, on-going work concerning off-road vehicle use on public lands and waters. Who’s leading it?
