Why a KitchenAid Mixer?
On the day I decided to buy my KitchenAid mixer I did not need to do too much comparison-shopping. Along with a favourite pastime of browsing kitchen shops I was also an avid reader of many kitchen and food magazines, so I was aware of the numerous options available. Since making bread was one of my motivations for buying new equipment I had thought about buying a bread maker, but I could not afford to buy both a bread maker and a mixer, so I decided I needed an appliance that would serve more than one purpose. I did briefly consider the Cuisnart line of mixers, but the appeal of the KitchenAid was too strong. Visual Appeal One of the first things that drew me to the KitchenAid Ultra Power KSM90 was the way it looked. It looked big, strong, solid, and sturdy, but most of all, it looked professional.
