Why a dress code?
Modesty is a PALS policy. As our students develop into young women we want them to form positive attitudes toward their femininity through respect for their bodies. The girls learn that the body is a means of expression and it should speak of their femininity and the truth of their human dignity. Through example and conversation, we encourage the girls to exhibit this virtue through dress, behavior, and speaking of sexuality as a gift to be offered in marriage. Modesty means enjoying freedom within limits. One piece bathing suits and shorts or skirts of appropriate length, are to be worn during the program.
