Why a comic strip about a teenage girl?
Me: The first comics I ever read as a kid were Garfield and The Far Side. Since then, there’s been a comic strip explosion and there’s way more genres now then there used to be. My primary influence is Luann by Greg Evans, but there’s a little bit of Zits, Foxtrot and Stone Soup mixed in as well. Me: That didn’t really answer the question. Me: Most people who do comic strips about teenagers are usually in their 30s or 40s. I’m 23, and still in touch with my effeminate, female side.
