Why 15,000 guaranteed impressions instead of the previous time-based system?
In the past, we used a time-based system which banners were displayed in rotation for a fixed period of 30 days. However in reality, statistics fluctuate from month to month. Hence, one advertiser could possibly get 12,000 impressions in one month and another advertiser may get 18,000 impressions in another month. In order to be fair to all advertisers, we have decided to change to a guaranteed impressions system, thus ensuring that every advertiser would get the same amount of exposure. Based on our past statistics, we estimate an average of 15,000 impressions could last for 30 days. As the magazine grows and gets even more popular over time, we will upgrade the number of impressions. Our objective is to try to get the banners to last for about 30 days with an equal distribution of impressions.
